Job Summary
Own the multi-year strategy for the Embedded API and partner platform, prioritizing segments and workflows where Brex can win. Lead partner discovery, executive pitches, and solution design to convert needs into reusable APIs and integration patterns. Align Card Infrastructure, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business Development around reliable, scalable launches while using AI to simplify the developer experience. Make disciplined tradeoffs on commitments and deferments to drive integration speed, launch rates, payment volume, and revenue. Based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York with a hybrid schedule of three coordinated office days per week.
Required Qualifications
- A track record of scaling an API product, developer platform, or API-led business
- Strong judgment about developer experience and reliable, secure integrations
- Technical fluency in APIs, data models, distributed or financial systems, and architecture tradeoffs
- Credibility in partner discovery, executive pitches, and solution planning
- Commercial judgment that connects product roadmaps to adoption, payment volume, and revenue
- A founder or GM mindset that moves from ambiguous strategy to launch-level detail
- Exceptional communication and influence across technical, business, risk, compliance, and external teams
- Minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
