Job Summary
Own the strategy and quality for Ironclad's Contract Understanding Platform, setting the vision and roadmap for extraction accuracy from import through export. Build the data once and serve it everywhere by defining APIs, schemas, and developer experiences that power Search, Smart Import, and AI agents. Model contract relationships to move beyond flat properties, capturing clauses and negotiation history so agents can reason relationally. Lead through influence by making consequential technical calls on model architectures and vendors, aligning engineering, design, and leadership around accountable execution. Partner across legal, security, and GTM teams to connect platform capabilities into customer workflows, using telemetry and feedback to drive product quality. This Staff Product Manager role requires 7+ years of experience shipping production AI/ML and developer platform products, with hybrid office attendance twice weekly in New York City.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience
- staff-level ownership of a technically complex product area
- Experience shipping production AI/ML, developer platform, data infrastructure, or search products
- Practical fluency with LLM systems, extraction or retrieval, APIs, data models, evaluation methods, latency, and cost
- Strong quantitative judgment, including the ability to tell offline benchmark performance from actual production quality
- Platform instincts: you solve immediate needs while extracting durable, shared capabilities
- Experience owning customer-facing outcomes, not just internal infrastructure
- Enterprise-product judgment where trust, scale, compliance, and workflow integration matter
- Excellent written communication and influence across engineering, leadership, GTM, and customers
- Office attendance is required at least twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays
