Job Summary
Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for observability at Render, spanning systems telemetry (logs, metrics, distributed tracing), OpenTelemetry-native instrumentation, and agent/LLM observability including token economics. Drive prioritization across foundational infrastructure and near-term product needs while partnering with Engineering and other Product teams to shape the technical direction of the telemetry pipeline. Develop an opinionated point of view on how OpenTelemetry conventions extend to agent workloads and how teams should reason about model routing and cost attribution. Define the visibility layer for AI workloads to help developers debug, monitor, and manage spend across services, queues, and autonomous agent decisions.
