Staff Product Engineer, BMS

Job Summary
Lead qualification, characterization, and high-volume manufacturing release of BMS ICs for automotive applications. Develop and execute comprehensive reliability plans, characterization plans, and test programs while applying statistical analysis for yield optimization and test limit definition. Serve as the technical expert for APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP, and drive ISO 26262 functional safety compliance through safety mechanism validation and fault injection testing. Lead cross-functional teams in analyzing customer returns and production failures using 8D methodology to implement corrective actions. Act as the primary interface for customers, application engineers, and internal design and test teams during product integration and ramp-up.
Required Qualifications
- deep knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards (AEC-Q100, APQP, ISO 26262)
- strong understanding of IC design, test, and manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in product or test engineering for automotive semiconductor ICs
- Extensive experience with BMS ICs or similar power/analog ICs for automotive applications
- Deep understanding of automotive standards, including AEC-Q100, APQP, PPAP, and ISO 26262
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies for IC data
- Strong knowledge of IC fabrication, assembly, and testing processes
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive complex projects to completion
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making
