Job Summary
Define and drive product design vision for your area, from first sketch to shipped product, in partnership with product and engineering. Collaborate with product managers to scope design requirements, build lean project plans, and research user needs to translate complex financial workflows into approachable experiences. Lead end-to-end design across desktop, mobile web, and native app experiences, working closely with engineers through critical moments and a smooth handoff. Partner with cross-functional teams, including the design system team, to deliver cohesive solutions that hold together as a system. Contribute to product strategy, roadmap, and customer validation while helping shape the design culture and principles of the team.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years as a UX/product designer
- expertise across desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences
- proficient in UX methods (generative research, information architecture, interaction design, user testing)
- comfortable thinking in systems
- can articulate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- a proven track record of leading projects end to end in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
