Job Summary
Staff Product Designer, Trading Product leads the experience design of Fanatics Betting & Gaming's internal operational tools for Trading, Pricing, Risk, and Operations. Works with Traders, Product Managers, and Engineers to deliver intuitive, web-based tooling that improves operational efficiency and decision-making in real-time workflows. Operates with autonomy, conducts user research and discovery to identify opportunities for improvement, and translates insights into product and UX enhancements. Builds strong relationships with operational users, maps end-to-end journeys, and designs for high-stakes, real-time environments. Partners with Product and Engineering to solve challenging trader and operational needs, leveraging data, metrics, and research insights to iterate designs. Drives high-quality output across internal tooling, from interaction models and prototypes to production-ready designs, and contributes to KPIs such as operational efficiency, speed to market, usability, and trading performance. Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and design systems; knowledge of trading/risk tooling, pricing models, and third-party data feeds is valuable, with a preference for experience in data-heavy or market-based domains.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of Product Design experience
- Experience designing for data-heavy, real-time environments
- Strong collaboration with Product and Engineering
- Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into product improvements
- Experience with design systems
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows
- Knowledge of sports betting, financial trading, or market-based systems is a plus but not required
