Job Summary
Staff Product Designer for Perk Events to own the events experiences across a multi-sided platform, lead design direction across triads with PM and engineering, conduct and synthesize user research to translate insights into intuitive experiences, prototype rapidly with AI-enabled tools, and elevate craft and critique within the team. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership of the Events experience, guiding design decisions from scope to shipped product, and shaping how users interact with corporate travel and event management capabilities. The candidate should demonstrate staff-level impact, autonomous work style, strong customer empathy, data-informed decision making, and the ability to influence product direction across cross-functional teams. The role requires collaboration in an IRL-focused environment with a global company, and relocation support is available.
Required Qualifications
- Staff-level IC with end-to-end ownership experience
- Experience designing complex, multi-step product flows
- Strong customer empathy and design thinking
- Fluency in qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions
- Ability to influence product direction in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Proficiency with prototyping tools (Claude, Cursor, Bolt) and AI integration considerations
- Experience with Figma and Git collaboration environments
