Staff/Principal Product Designer, Partnerships

Job Summary
Lead design strategy across multiple product units while setting the vision for overall user experience and building new products alongside iterative improvements to existing ones. Manage executive stakeholders across engineering, product, marketing, and other functions to drive improvements in the product development process with cross-functional partners. Balance smaller projects with high-impact bets that level up the overall product, transitioning toward an AI-augmented product building model. If Principal, mentor and lead the work of other designers. Explore and launch improvements to established agent journeys and wholly new business lines to grow revenue. Experience leading projects end-to-end, including discovery, problem definition, ideation, validation, and engineering implementation is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of Product Design experience
- At least 2 years at a venture-funded, private startup
- For Principal level, at least 2 years in a role where you are influencing the work of others either through direct management or indirect leadership
- The majority of your experience is in-house working on direct-to-consumer products
- You've worked in a high-velocity, experiment-driven environment
- An understanding of when to use the design process and when to shortcut it
- Your process has predictably excellent output
- You can clearly articulate the reasoning behind your design decisions
- Your work demonstrates intentionality and rigorous thinking
- Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of your work and its impact on the business
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to move quickly while producing high-quality work, including interaction details, storytelling, visual polish, and content design
- A track record of raising the bar for the design practices you have been a member of
- Experience leading projects end-to-end, including discovery, problem definition, ideation, and validation, all the way through engineering implementation and measurement
- Experience in launching 0-1 products, not just iterating on something that already exists
