Job Summary
Design and specify components for the grid-to-chip power chain, building test environments to validate performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop custom hardware and prototypes for power conversion, while ensuring robustness against grid disturbances and simulating various loading conditions. Support the transition of validated designs into manufacturing and provide guidance to manufacturers and engineering teams on testing procedures. Resolve sophisticated power hardware and firmware issues as needed. This hybrid-remote role in Milpitas, CA, requires a significant in-laboratory component and is open to candidates with a degree in Electrical Engineering and expertise in high-voltage systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated ability in power system and delivery architecture, design, and development
- Experience testing high voltage and high power systems
- Proficiency in power hardware and firmware development and debugging
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
Desired Qualifications
