Job Summary
Founding team Staff Platform Engineer responsible for architecting and building core parts of the platform, with ownership to shape technology, architecture, product, and culture. Collaborate closely with the CEO and CTO. Required to contribute across backend and frontend tech, leveraging AWS, Java, React, and TypeScript; bring 7+ years of experience in scalable distributed backend systems; strong coding practices, Agile mindset, and experience with CI/CD. Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience building scalable, distributed backend systems
- Experience with Java, JVM
- Experience with AWS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or the equivalent experience
- Experience with React, TypeScript
- Solid coding practices including writing technical specifications, peer code review, and testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Experience with Agile development
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation concepts
- Experience working for an early stage startup
