Job Summary
Provide comprehensive inpatient coverage for Obstetrics and Gynecology patients, admitting and managing laboring patients including routine, operative vaginal, and cesarean deliveries. Evaluate triage presentations for admission or discharge, manage postpartum care and complications, and perform neonatal circumcisions. Supervise high-risk patients with 24-hour Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation support while collaborating with General Ob/Gyn physicians. Maintain evidence-based care standards, attend quality and safety committees, and contribute to departmental education and research goals. Join the Manhattan Faculty Group Practice at NYU Langone Health, serving approximately 2,500 deliveries annually.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Successfully completed a U.S. Accredited OB/GYN Residency training program
- New York State Medical license
- Five years work experience
- Strong communication skills
