Job Summary
Provide high-quality care to all patients in AFC’s walk-in primary/urgent care setting. Manage patient care during shifts and supervise clinical staff on shift. Ensure all charts and medical records are completed timely and process biological specimens as needed. Role supports a flexible, part-time/per diem schedule with benefits; requires board-certified/board-eligible physician in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (with ER/UC experience); active medical licensure, DEA and state CS certificate. Must be able to multi-task, communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families, and work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience)
- Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
