Job Summary
Provide professional ophthalmic services across community-based and UCLA clinic settings, including vision screenings, exams, and refractions for pediatric and adult patients; assist with ordering prescription eyeglasses; serve as a clinical resource to staff; collaborate with residents, fellows, and students; engage with patients, families, educators, and community partners to address vision-related questions; travel to and work across multiple outreach and clinical locations throughout Los Angeles and surrounding counties; maintain a full-time clinical schedule five days per week; participate in monthly departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Ophthalmology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency
- Active/Eligible California medical license
- Demonstrated interest in clinical outreach and community-based care
- Living in Los Angeles
