Staff Physician, Ophthalmology – Mobile Eye Clinic & Comprehensive Care

Ophthalmologist sought to provide comprehensive eye care across UCLA Mobile Eye Clinic and departmental clinical services. Responsibilities include vision screenings, exams, and refractions for pediatric and adult patients in community settings (schools, health fairs, shelters) and UCLA clinics; ordering prescription eyeglasses for pediatric and adult programs; serving as a clinical resource for exams/refractions; teaching residents, fellows, medical and undergraduate students, and volunteers; collaborating with the Stein Eye Institute; engaging with patients, families, educators, and community partners; and traveling across multiple outreach and clinical locations in the Los Angeles area. Full-time schedule, five days per week, with monthly department meetings, and a strong emphasis on community outreach and serving underserved populations. Salary range $142,100–$348,100 annually; living in Los Angeles preferred; CA medical license required.
