Job Summary
Staff Physician provides high-quality clinical care in a multidisciplinary environment, using diagnostic testing appropriately and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The role focuses on engaging patients, demonstrating professionalism, and considering psychosocial aspects of health and disease while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include seeking consultations and referrals when appropriate, ensuring cost-effective use of diagnostic testing, and contributing to quality improvement goals. Requires MD/DO with residency, Maryland licensure, DEA and CDS, board certification or eligibility, and experience in community health and diverse settings. Proficiency with electronic medical records and related practice management systems is expected, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. in a primary care specialty with completion of an accredited residency training program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Completion of medical degree and an accredited residency program
- Appropriate Maryland licensure and clinical certification, DEA and Maryland CDS
- interest in and/or experience in community health settings
- Experience working in a diverse environment
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals required
- Excellent communication and team skills required.
