Job Summary
Responsible for providing medical services to patients aligned with AltaMed’s Team-Based Care Model focusing on population health and evidence-based medicine. Requires valid California medical license and board certification, with training as a physician and BLS certification. Leadership skills are preferred, and experience with electronic medical records is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and training as a physician required
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California
- Board certification in the chosen specialty required or Board Eligible with the expectation to become board certified within 18 months
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross guidelines
- Previous experience with computer-based systems required
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership or management skills preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
