Staff Physical Therapist--Chicago Medical District - Outpatient Orthopedics

Conduct thorough patient evaluations including goniometry, manual muscle testing, and functional assessments while developing personalized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations. Utilize interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques including Graston and Dry Needling, and modalities to improve outcomes. Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies, then document progress in Epic Hyperspace. Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants in a 1:1 ratio to ensure effective delegation and continuity of care. Collaborate closely with physicians, OTs, and other team members to coordinate patient-centered care for a diverse population ranging from young adults to seniors. Contribute to department growth by implementing new services like Blood Flow Restriction therapy.
