Staff Pharmacist, Second Shift

Staff Pharmacist on second shift responsible for ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions, providing healthcare counseling to residents and facility staff, supervising Pharmacy Technicians and support staff, training and coaching Pharmacy associates, and assuming management duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and nurses regarding therapy recommendations, maintaining compliance with federal and state laws, handling resident issues to build trust, reviewing PCC (Point Click Care) information for residents and orders, maintaining infection control standards, prioritizing tasks, and performing duties in a safe manner per corporate policies. The role is with CommuniCare Family of Companies’ Pharmacy Solutions Group in Ohio, with shift structure described as rotating between 11-7 and 1-midnight and every third weekend, supporting a post-acute care environment across multiple facilities.
