Job Summary
Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and provide expert counseling on health care and medication needs. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on compliance with policies and procedures. Utilize data and personal conversations to understand community concerns, stay updated on urgent health issues, and drive improvement opportunities through operational execution and safety reviews. Maintain confidential information and documentation while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
