Staff Pharmacist PRN - Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital

Review and prepare medications by interpreting physician orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibilities, and dispensing drugs through compounding, packaging, and labeling. Monitor patient medication therapy, provide quality drug information to healthcare workers, and document interventions within the clinical surveillance system. Actively participate in clinical activities including patient and staff education, manage departmental resources, and establish measurable yearly goals. Work weekends and on-call shifts (6-8 days per month) in an inpatient operational role that includes outpatient infusions.
