Staff Pharmacist

Review, compound, and dispense medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while managing dosing variations, nutritional needs, and disease states. Distribute drugs, solutions, and equipment to meet patient and staff needs, then supervise pharmacy technicians by monitoring all orders filled by auxiliary personnel. Provide patient-focused clinical activities throughout the hospital to ensure optimal medication therapy. Maintain competency and pursue self-development in professional pharmacy practice. Requires a Georgia-licensed pharmacist with an ACPE-accredited degree; hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
