Job Summary
Clinical Staff Pharmacist will evaluate and interpret medication orders, engage in compounding and dispensing prescriptions, and apply evidence-based protocols to promote safe, effective, and individualized patient care. The role emphasizes identifying and resolving medication-related issues to optimize drug therapy and outcomes, with opportunities to contribute to cost-effective pharmaceutical care within a hospital and health-system setting. The position is part-time (at least 20 hours/week) at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, and requires an ACPE-accredited degree and an active state pharmacist license.
