Job Summary
Provide clinical healthcare services in a retail pharmacy setting, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing, compounding, and regulatory compliance; mentor and train pharmacy team members; partner with patients to optimize medication outcomes while delivering customer-focused service; requires a BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree, current pharmacist licensure in the district, and at least 1 year of retail experience with familiarity with pharmacy software, insurance processes, and compliance; opportunities for growth into leadership roles and participation in Walgreens University training.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance
