Job Summary
Deliver clinical pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist in a Walgreens store, including immunizations, medication therapy management, accurate dispensing and verification, and regulatory compliance. Mentor and train pharmacy team members, navigate insurance claims, and ensure patient-focused, safe medication use. Leverage pharmacy software and systems to support operations, maintain medication safety, and provide comprehensive health services; participate in flexible scheduling and contribute to growth opportunities within Walgreens. Requirements include a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, current pharmacist licensure in the district, and at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience (prescription filling, verification, records and legal compliance, and pharmacy operations).
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance
