Job Summary
Deliver clinical healthcare services and oversee medication-related care in a retail pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance; mentor and train pharmacy team members; navigate insurance claims and medication-management challenges; support patient-focused, service-driven care and contribute to pharmacy operations and compliance in a Walgreens environment.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance
