Job Summary
Pharmacist needed at Walgreens in Asheville, NC to deliver clinical pharmacy services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance; mentor and train pharmacy staff; flexible scheduling with part-time/full-time shifts; competitive pay and extensive benefits (health, PTO, 401(k), employee discounts, fertility/adoption support); requires a PharmD/Pharmacist degree and active licensure in the district with at least 1 year of retail experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance
