Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• •Current Pharmacy license in the state of practice
• •Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information
• •Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard
• •Effective verbal and written communication skills
• •Ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
• •Skills necessary to compound pharmaceuticals
• •Ability to operate technical equipment
• •Ability to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands
• •Manual dexterity
• •Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability)
• •Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue
• •Ability to work in an environment with known or suspected communicable diseases
• •Ability to enter isolation rooms
• •Occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases
• •Ability to encounter hazardous medications and hazardous waste
