Job Summary
Fill prescriptions safely accurately, educate and mentor pharmacy technicians, and oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge. Focus on patient care and education, maintain positive relationships with patients and team members, and ensure compliance with Meijer policies, procedures, and state and federal laws. Lead clinical services such as immunizations and contribute to expanding and growing the pharmacy business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana) Retail/Community Practice
- Working knowledge of pharmacy system
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures
- Understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates
