Job Summary
Fill prescriptions safely and accurately while maintaining positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership. Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results, educate and mentor them to be effective team members, and motivate staff to perform at their highest level. Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge and perform clinical services, including immunizations. Listen to patients to resolve their needs and ensure excellent customer service. Maintain competency in Meijer policies, state and federal laws, and pharmacy systems. This role requires a registered and licensed pharmacist with a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Retail/Community Practice
- Working knowledge of pharmacy system
- Working knowledge of policies and procedures
- Understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates
