Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers and function as an educational and informational resource for healthcare workers and patients. Apply advanced mathematical concepts, including exponents and logarithms, to tasks such as pharmacokinetics and dosage calculations. Maintain a current California Pharmacy license and deliver accurate medication advice while supporting the hospital's award-winning patient experience standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four (4) plus years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Pharmacy degree or equivalency exam
- Current CA Pharmacy license
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as pharmacokinetics
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D)
- Pharmacy Residency
