Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary
Dispense prescription medications and provide professional pharmaceutical care to customers in accordance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and company policies. Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety, while maintaining accurate records of controlled substances. Advise customers on medication use, side effects, and interactions, and support inventory management of pharmacy supplies. Maintain pharmacy equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards. Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines outlined in the Primary Policy Manual. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and company operations, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Must have completed required internship experience and successfully passed the applicable state board examinations.
- Must maintain all Continuing Education (CE) requirements required for licensure in the state(s) where practicing.
- Proof of continuing education must be provided to the Support Office and maintained in the employee's personnel file.
- Employment in pharmacy positions is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check.
