Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist I based onsite in St. Louis, MO, responsible for prescription verification, patient counseling, inventory management, and supporting fulfillment and shipping workflows in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Collaborates with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, providers, and customer support to ensure safe, accurate processing of prescriptions, maintains HIPAA confidentiality, adheres to state and federal pharmacy laws, manages medication histories, supports intake and dispensing processes, and contributes to improving prescription fulfillment and patient experience. Requires Missouri Pharmacist license, ability to work onsite, and adaptability to evolving workflows; typical hours align with pharmacy operating hours and Saturday rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
- Ability to work onsite in St. Louis, Missouri
- Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Ability to accurately verify and process prescriptions in a high-volume environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across pharmacy, clinical, and operational teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
