Job Summary
Prepare medications for final dispensing, including order entry, filling, and packaging, while reviewing and cycle-filling orders to ensure accuracy. Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of prescriptions by checking allergies, drug interactions, and refill limits, then interpret orders with professional judgment to prioritize patient safety. Oversee technician performance, manage inventory levels, place cost-effective orders, and notify facilities of stock shortages. Log all medication errors and answer clinical questions from patients, doctors, and nurses. Adhere strictly to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and compounding guidelines.

- Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD
- State Pharmacist License required without restrictions
- 1+ years of related experience

- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines

- Ability to work flexible hours
