Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist at Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include accurately preparing medications for final dispensing, reviewing orders, ensuring legal and pharmaceutical feasibility, interpreting prescription orders with professional judgment, adhering to Federal/State regulations and compounding guidelines, transferring prescriptions, assisting patients and providers, managing inventory, supervising technicians, and contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within a long-term care pharmacy. Requirements include a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, a state pharmacist license, 1+ year of experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and proficiency with pharmacy operations systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD. required
- State Pharmacist License required without restrictions
- 1+ years of related experience
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
