Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist evaluating providers’ medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, frequency, route of administration, and potential allergies and clinical interactions; making therapy-change recommendations to providers as appropriate; managing therapies per approved pharmacy management protocols; verifying all medications dispensed and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations; participating as a critical member of the clinical team to promote safe medication management; shift: full-time, 8-hour shifts with rotating day shifts and periodic weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree or PharmD
- Licensed Pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
