Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist needed at CVS Health in an in-store role within our Retail locations. The role focuses on safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations, with responsibilities including overseeing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Manager is not present, coaching and supervising the pharmacy team, ensuring adherence to workflow procedures and safety guardrails, handling insurance and medication issues, and maintaining inventory with emphasis on cold chain products. The position requires active pharmacist licensure in the store’s state, an active NPI, and compliance with applicable laws and CVS Health policies. The role also involves providing clinical care such as testing and prescribing where permissible, supporting patient access to care, and maintaining professional competencies through trainings and CMEs. The anticipated schedule includes nights and weekends, and the base pay range is $60.00-$76.00 per hour with eligibility for bonus or incentive programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
