Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist, Full Time at CVS Health, responsible for safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling, immunizations, and supervising pharmacy team during shifts. Supports Pharmacy Manager, helps manage workflow, addresses insurance and medication issues, maintains inventory and cold-chain integrity, ensures regulatory compliance, and delivers compassionate, patient-centered care while coordinating with the broader healthcare team and ensuring high-quality service.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
- Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
- Attention and Focus: Concentration over time
- Customer Service and Team Orientation
- Communication Skills: Verbal and written
- Math skills for dosage calculations and inventory
- Ability to handle physical demands and lifting
- Compliance with federal and state laws and CVS policies
- Willingness to participate in required trainings and immunization programs
- Ability to work with Pharmacy Manager and team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing
- Flexibility to work at multiple locations as business needs require
- Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Anticipated Weekly Hours 40
