Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist responsible for dispensing, counseling, and immunizing in CVS Health retail locations; acts as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts, coaching the team and ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment; supports immunizations and patient care, collaborates with the patient’s healthcare team, and helps resolve insurance or medication issues; manages inventory with a focus on cold chain, ensures compliance with state boards and CVS policies, and maintains clinical/technical skills to expand patient access and outcomes; contributes to a safe, inclusive team environment and scheduling flexibility; requires active pharmacist license and NPI.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
