Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health will lead or proxy the pharmacist-on-duty during bench shifts, ensure safe and accurate dispensing and immunization practices, coach the pharmacy team, manage inventory with emphasis on cold chain products, support regulatory compliance with state boards, and contribute to patient care through counseling, immunizations, and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team. The role requires an active pharmacist license and NPI, with typical duties including dispensing, verifying prescription information, assisting with immunizations (COVID/Flu when permissible), and coordinating with Pharmacy Manager to maintain safety, accuracy, and quality across the pharmacy operations.
