Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist with CVS Health in a full-time role responsible for leading pharmacy operations in-store, supporting the Pharmacy Manager, overseeing prescription fulfillment, counseling and immunizations, coaching the pharmacy team, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain, ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, and contributing to patient experiences through compassionate care and collaboration with the patient’s healthcare team. Responsibilities include safe dispensing, bench-shift coverage, workflow governance, addressing insurance and medication issues, providing clinical services where permissible (e.g., COVID/Flu testing, hormonal contraception), and maintaining required trainings and CMEs while upholding safety, privacy, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
