Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist responsible for safe and accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations in CVS Health retail locations. Acts as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts, coaches and develops the pharmacy team, ensures compliance with state Boards of Pharmacy and CVS policies, supports immunization delivery, manages inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and collaborates with the patient’s healthcare team to resolve insurance and medication issues. Role includes applying clinical care such as testing/prescribing where permissible, maintaining up-to-date clinical and technical skills, and ensuring patient safety and high-quality service while adapting to scheduling and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
