Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist in a CVS Health retail location delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counseling patients, administering immunizations, and supporting inventory and clinic operations. Be the pharmacist-on-duty when needed, coach and coordinate pharmacy team members, ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, resolve insurance/medication issues, and collaborate with the patient’s healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes. The role includes maintaining dosing accuracy, following safety guardrails, and expanding clinical services (e.g., testing and prescribing where permissible) while upholding compassionate, quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
