Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist role at CVS Health in NY Hicksville. Oversee and support pharmacy operations, lead & coach the team during shifts in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, provide compassionate patient care, and deliver immunizations. Responsibilities include managing workflow, resolving insurance/medication issues, maintaining inventory with emphasis on cold-chain products, ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, and maintaining clinical/technical skills through ongoing trainings. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience and flexibility to work at multiple market locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Ability to complete required trainings and CMEs
- Experience with immunizations and patient counseling (preferred)
