Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist responsibilities include guiding the pharmacy team on safe and accurate dispensing, immunization administration, and patient counseling; overseeing workflow, inventory management (with emphasis on cold chain), and regulatory compliance; stepping in for Pharmacy Manager on shifts as needed; addressing insurance and medication issues; delivering pharmacist-led clinical care (e.g., testing and prescribing services where permissible) and collaborating with the broader healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes; required to maintain clinical and technical skills, complete trainings, and adhere to CVS Health policies; 40-hour weekly schedule with nights and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
