Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist in a CVS Health retail location responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager, supervising the pharmacy team on bench shifts, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, counseling patients, immunizing, managing inventory (with emphasis on cold chain), and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include coaching and developing the pharmacy team, resolving insurance and medication issues, contributing to patient care through pharmacist-delivered clinical services (e.g., immunizations, testing where permissible), and maintaining up-to-date clinical and technical skills. Qualified candidates hold an active pharmacist license, a valid NPI, and are able to work a full-time schedule including nights and weekends. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of related experience and flexibility to work across locations as needed.
