Job Summary
Verify prescription orders are dispensed accurately and according to corporate and regulatory standards while providing oversight and quality assurance of pharmacy services. Deliver clinical pharmacy services to patients, including counseling on prescriptions and handling clinical queries, and communicate with prescribers to modify and manage drug therapy for desired outcomes. Train and mentor staff and students on pharmacy operations and workflows. This role supports the Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy team, which serves over 12 million members across the country. Candidates must obtain an Enhanced Reliability Clearance from the Federal Government as a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science-Pharmacy or PharmD
- Valid Manitoba pharmacist license
- Experience in retail pharmacy
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions
- Ability to evaluate current state and analyze possible solutions in business workflow
- Ability to train and coach less-experienced staff to desired team results
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Available Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Available to start ASAP

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in specialty medications
- Knowledge of Pharmacy Benefits Management Industry/Managed care industry
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy software system
