Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist responsible for leading pharmacy operations in a community setting, supporting the Pharmacy Manager, overseeing Pharmacy Technician staff, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance, managing inventory and workflow, and driving quality outcomes. Responsibilities include improving access to care, advising on prescriptions, implementing patient care programs, and maintaining a compassionate, team-centered atmosphere while delivering high-quality service. Requires active pharmacy license, immunization certification, and a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy (preferred); strong emphasis on leadership, regulatory knowledge, quality assurance, customer service, and operational profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree (Preferred)
