Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist responsible for leading pharmacy operations in CVS Health retail locations, supporting the Pharmacy Manager, supervising the pharmacy team, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, counseling patients, immunizing when permissible, managing inventory with emphasis on cold chain, and maintaining compliance with state/federal regulations. Willingness to cover bench shifts, coach staff, resolve insurance/medication issues, and provide holistic clinical care including testing/prescribing services where allowed, while upholding patient safety, quality standards, and a compassionate patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
