Job Summary
Responsible for the clinical and medication management of pharmacy information systems. Develops and manages pharmacology informatics programs, optimizes drug files and EHR, evaluates and enhances pharmacy practices, and provides training for clinical staff. A minimum of five years experience in pharmacy, including a hospital setting, and a valid pharmacy license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience in pharmacy practice
- Three (3) years in the hospital setting
- Completion of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacy License in any U.S. State or Territory
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pharmacology informatics programs
- Knowledge of health information systems
- Experience in automation and technology related to medication use
