Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding health care needs, and administering immunizations. Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure concerns are successfully resolved. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing safety controls, and overseeing quality assurance reviews. Maintain confidential information and documentation while using data and personal conversations to understand community concerns and stay updated on urgent health issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
